I design web experiences and run the experiments that turn visitors into customers.

Eight years designing for the web, the last four at Sendible, where I ran the experiments that moved trial conversion, led a brand refresh that launched everywhere at once, and rebuilt the navigation, pricing and reporting.

VISITOR-TO-TRIAL FUNNEL Twenty experiments on one funnel Four years of conversion experiments across the homepage, pricing, demo and sign-up. The ones that lost taught the most.
BRAND REFRESH A refresh is ten percent drawing and ninety percent finding A full visual refresh shipped everywhere at once, with the About-page motion, brand hub and merch site that carried it.
NAVIGATION & SEARCH I spent 2024 making the menu bigger, and 2026 making it smaller Rebuilding the global navigation and search, first bigger, then smaller, and finding both were right.
INSIGHTS BLOG REDESIGN Making a blog worth coming back to Rebuilding the blog into something worth coming back to.
REPORTING 2.0 Rebuilding a reporting experience customers had stopped trusting Rebuilding reporting around a live, in-browser report builder I prototyped in code.
PRIMSOL When search is the whole product When search is the whole product: rebuilding a legal research tool around how lawyers actually cross-reference.

How I work

01

I like data more than I like opinions.

I built the scoring framework we used to rank experiments, where level 1 on the confidence scale is “opinion, including leadership’s”.

02

I write the process, not just the screens.

I authored the growth-driven design process my team worked to, from discovery through post-launch review.

03

I’d rather run the test than win the argument.

Some of my favourite work is the experiments that didn’t go my way, and the better questions they produced.
